Miss Alameda becomes Miss "Recycle Woman" in local film

Miss Alameda Jessica Robinson is starring in her own short film produced and filmed here in Alameda - with guest appearances by Mayor Marie Gilmore and the chiefs of Police and Fire. The film promotes recycling and composting and is designed to appeal to adults and children alike. There will be two limited showings of the movie locally, so please support our hometown recycling superhero!

Saturday, November 26th at 5:45 p.m. - "Green Carpet" premiere featuring the cast and crew. Recycle Woman will be shown in the Historic Alameda Theater and your entrance ticket will allow you the choice of seeing any addition feature film being shown that day. VIP tickets available for $20.50 through Pinchit (link below). $10 of every ticket sold will be donated to three local youth non-profits: LoveLife Foundation, Kids on the Move America, and Alameda Education Foundation.

Saturday, December 3rd at 5:45 p.m. - "Green Carpet" premiere featuring the cast and crew, Recycle Woman showing, panel discussion about plastics in the ocean, and refreshments at the Michaan Auction House Theater at Alameda Point. 100% of the $20.50 admission price will be donated to three local youth non-profits: LoveLife Foundation, Kids on the Move America, and Alameda Education Foundation.
